Short Term 任务s

Guide to short term service trips

Short term service trips provide opportunities for young adults to discover their vocational calling, learn about other cultures, 和 grow spiritually through seeing God at work in their efforts.

At Walla Walla University, we are actively inviting 学生s into a discipleship experience that expresses Jesus' two primary comm和s: Go. Jesus calls us to , learn, commit our lives, 和 be transformed into His beautiful 和 loving character. But then Jesus encourages us to Go 和 share the love 和 gospel with others through authentic engagement 和 compassionate service. We believe short term service trips serve a vital role in developing that discipleship lifestyle.

Short term service trips are defined as any service-related trip outside the Walla Walla Valley lasting anywhere from five days to two months. University sponsored trips will have an approved sponsor, must happen over school breaks, 和 are typically made up of a minimum of 10 学生s.

Trips can be organized 和 led by any Walla Walla University employee, but all trips must be approved by the WWU Travel Proposal Committee 和 processed in collaboration with the Student 任务s office.
